It shouldn't be a surprise that longer periods of rest away from work, time not fully filled with errands and chores, will help their productivity. Work done while being exhausted and burned out is not likely to be the best work.
What would one fewer work day look like? Less wasted time commuting. But will places like the courts be prepared to accommodate? Would work just fall on co-workers?

And with longer hours during the four days, the workplace would need to be able to accommodate extended workdays. And the worker able to cope with a much longer day.
However, in addition to working from home, a four day work week may be another future change.
